We understand there was a big dance near Belle Fontaine today and we have some footage from the event.

That is SO HILARIOUS!!!

I gonna find a sponser and try that! O.K. maybe not. Did you see that one part where they're spinning around with their arms in the air? All of them had one foot on one treadmill and one on the other!

The name is actually one word. O well.

It (the dance) was interesting. Hehe.

INTERESTING HEHE?!!!
DUDE!
This is the funniest thing since, "Introducing, Ausigauneez the Geek." "That Grrrrrreek, not 'Geek'!" "Oh. So sorry, Ausigauneez the Grrrrreek."
It's the coolest thing since A/C!
It's the most "I so want to do that" thing since that I-want-to-go-skydiving attack I have last week!
It's the most awesome, I'm-so-totally-there, why-in-the-world-didn't-someone-come-up-with-this-sooner, totally revolutionary thing I've heard of since I heard the story of my Grandpa swinging all the way around the swingset in a complete loop!
Mr. M. is now my varitable hero, for bringing this into my life.
I've already drawn up plans for an organization called, TMDAOA (Treadmill Mill Dancer Ascociation Of America)!
I am forever in debt to the wonderful friends *voice starts to * we have here at the Morton Household Blog. *sob* I love you guys!!! *CPWSOTRDMCADMSSTILIWDTTWAGOAHIATWLOLATAT-FW* (Crying profusely with streams of tears runing down my cheeks and drenching my shirt so that it looks like I was dancing the tango with a giraffe on a houseboat in a thunderstorm with lots of lightning and thunder and tornado-force winds)
Thank you! You have changed my life forever!!!

ummmmm

I was meaning the dance last night.

:D

Oh.

Well, that was still more than "interesting." You really would have enjoyed it if you had danced. I found it quite fun.

It was very fun. I wish you could have cone. The Virginia Reel was the funnest.

The Squaredance was tons of fun. I at first had no intention of joining the dancing but after the first dance, I was enjoying myself quite a bit.

Isaac didn't dance one dance.

At 11:40 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Shame on him.

At 7:03 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Actually, I did dance. Once. Guess I really wasn't in the mood. Oh well.

At 8:21 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

If you weren't in the mood, why did you come?

At 9:13 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Because...

There wasn't just dancing there. I got to see plenty of friends that I hadn't seen in a while. This actually did happen, so it was a good evening for me. :)

I would assume by your conversation, that you don't hold to the believe that all dancing is wicked and should be avoided at all costs.

The treadmill dance was pretty good. :)

At 12:24 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

No, I enjoy dancing, and I don't see anything wrong with it. At least not the kind of dancing we are talking about.

Speaking of square dancing, I would like to know if anyone knows the praupor (said with English accent) way to do "a swing."
The reason I ask is because, one person I was partnered with kept tring to grab my elbow. However, my forearm was longer than hers and my hand was left dangaling with nothing to do except bend back double and try to grab her elbow.
Is this praupor, or are the elbows supposed to lock?

At 9:15 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

jc--in my opinion, most dancing is not wrong. There are some forms of dancing that are better left alone.

"I am by no means of oppinion, I assure you, that a ball of this kind, given by a young man of character, to repectable people, can have any evil tendancy..."

There ya go! (name the book and the character who said that! :)

At 9:17 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Just out of curiosity, who was this partner? I have no idea about whether this is praupor or not, but I would look it up on Wikipedia. Just type in "Square Dancing" and you should be able to find all you want to know.

Isaac-
Idanno. But I bet it's the mom in P&P.

Bumpas-

At 8:23 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Bugsbee, he asked me not you! Shame on you.

At 8:25 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

AHHHHH! This computer can be annoying! It was supposed to put down "Bumpas" on the above comment.

At 9:05 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

My guess is Monty Ponty. Oh I mean Monty Python. I don't know any of the characters (and no I don't need to know them either:).

Is bugsbee someone new?
Which character was Indigo? I think I have only seen PB twice and didn't care much for it then.

At 10:53 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

My guess was for Isaac's quote- just for clarity.

At 11:05 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

BING BING BING BING!!!

I was wondering why you were thinking the quote was from the second-best movie in the world--then I looked at the rest of the comment. :)

I've seen snatches of PB. I really need to see it all. It's just plain hilarious! :)

PS: Anyone here ever seen "Ever After"? It's great too.

At 11:05 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Oops. I spelled my own name wrong. How'd I do that?

At 12:23 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

PB is very good! Ever After was alright, I watched it several times and enjoyed them, but I like other movies better like PB.

Hello, my name is Iningo Montoya, you killed my father prepare to die!

O' how I love that movie (and that line)! How about instead of a P&P party we have a PB party. I like PB much better (sorry Isaac, Mortons, and girlB).

Just out of curiosity, how many fingers do you have milkdud? If you have 11 I really need to talk to you.

At 8:48 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Do you always begin conversations this way?

At 6:28 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

At 11:41 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

At 9:33 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

At 6:51 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Yeah, that would be fun.

At 11:30 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Won't milkdud be gone on vacation on Nov. 21? I sure hope not.

At 7:43 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

We'll be back well before then.

At 11:11 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

At 11:52 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Do the Mortons think they will make it to the square dance?

At 5:53 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I think you'll have to ask on a more recent post. I don't think they check comments this far back.
But if I have permission to answer, I'll give you a big: uauo (abbreviation for 'I don't know')
