Wow! I wish our family had that much room in the back of our van on vacation! Where did you go anyway?
I love the mountians. I have always wanted to see how to play a dulcimer!

That is some pretty country!
I guess Meg isn't Tiger Woods! (i.e. the putt-putt)
Well they did not happen to catch my hole-in-one on camera. No- I'm not making it up. For those of you interested, the ball in the picture was a hole-in-two! :) Our family made a theory that the particular hole, where my ball was on the edge, had a habit of keeping people "on the edge," because this same incident also happened to Grandma.
Milkdud~ It helps to take all your suitcases out of the car and put them in the hotel room! This was an automobile trail not the actual trip. There was, however, not much room in the back on the way home but thankfully everyone had a seatbelt and a little elbow room! :) How many people do you have to squeeze in your van on vacations? We only had 6 in a seven-seater van.
There are 8 total in our family, we have a 8 seater vehical (did I spell that rite?:]), but somehow people (the s) find a way to stuff the back and all the leg room in the front. (I will go on record to say that I only took 3/4 of a suitcase on our week and a half vacation this summer.)
Well if we could pack all the things we wanted we would have everything but the kitchen sink! And...well lets just say that Dad put a stop to that a long time ago:) I'm sure Kate can sympatize with you about leg room, S.A.M. too. When we had as our only car a Chevy Jimmy (5-seater), S.A.M. always had to sit in the middle, where there was a hump in the floor-very uncomfortable (so she tells us):)
May I ask how you found our blog?
~M~
Well, acually the iSack (say it out loud it'll come to you) refered me.
If we're retelling car seating horror stories, there's the one about our station wagon, a 7 seater (I think) in which 2 of the seats are in what could be called the trunk. The glass in the back door extended over and above the seats, which o by the way were on the floor, so it got VERY hot back there. Oh yeah, there wasn't any A/C in the back either. Guess where I sat. (look at my winking dog -> ';o{) )
O.K. well in that font it looks like a winking man with a mustache. Or something.
WOW! That scenery is great! Makes me want to go backpacking there for a week or two...
Looks like you did have a great time. And yes, I am the "iSack". I can settle with Milkdud about the name. :) Actually, I found out tonight who it was. I didn't hurt him. :)
Grandpa and I went through your whole blog tonight and we enjoyed all the new pictures. What a wonderful family we have. We liked all the remarks.
Hey Grandpa and Grandma!!!! Glad you liked the pictures...we will try to get the pix we took onto a cd for you!!!!
Love Ya Bunches!!!
