Family

Recent pictures of our extended family.

Our toothless cousin!

One of our cousin's had fun painting his face, and, yes, he did it himself!

One of our family's favorite desserts is Yum Yum. That's right, it is actually called "Yum Yum"! This delicacy is consisted of a nut and butter crust, with a layer of a whipped cream/cream cheese mixture on top of that, followed by a layer of vanilla pudding, and finally topped off with the whipped cream/cream cheese mixture. And if I recall correctly, one of our friends said the following of the dessert :

"I could just see my veins crystalizin' when I ate that!"

ooooOOOOOoooo! (to say this properly, you need to start at a low pitch and slowly get higher until a peek is reached at which time you slow lower back down to original starting pitch)

There's only one thing to say, YUM.

The only thing that could make that better is if you put a layer of bannana slices and vanilla wafers on top. ( :>)

If "Yum Yum" is what I think it is then I have had it on at least one occasion. It is very good. The bannana slices does sound good for the "Yum Yum".

Why was the toothless one painting himself? He wasn't tring to be a Tiger (as in baseball team) was he?

At 8:40 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I have no clue, but still it is a funny picture (specialy to one who has siblings\cousins who would do the same thing).

At 9:09 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

It's even funnier to someone who would do stuff like that all the time as a kid his age.

At 9:34 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I never really hit that stage.

At 11:50 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Meaning it's still to come?

AHHH!!!!! :>)

At 11:20 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I really hope not, but if it does it will be to other people. You better hope you don't share a tent with me. You may end up in the morning with a nice white beard. O' the possibilites!

At 6:26 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Thankfully for him, we are...

Wait, that's classified information. Anyway, the dessert sounds good. Possibly, you remember the dessert that we had on a campout once. That was good. I'll spare you the name...

At 12:43 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Isaac, I want to see you try, and if you manage to pull it off then you must face me in the morning. I will not be a happy camper.

On a seperate note, could you tell me the name of the dessert. My mind is not coming up with it.

At 8:35 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

It was at the Spring Camporall at Camp Birch. You weren't there. That's why you don't remember it, I'm guessing! :)

I- Is that the "feline vomit" one?

M to the 2nd-
Do you know what we're talking about? What's the most gross looking thing you've ever eaten?

At 11:46 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I now remember hearing the horrible tales from you two. From what I heard it tasted rather good, but looked, well, like cat vomit. I guess I'll here some more tales (and be upbraided for not going to the campout) tonight

At 1:53 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Okay Gentlemen! E-mail is a better way to explain all those details of your so called "dessert"!!!!

As to our luscious dessert on the post....it would go against the Morton Bakers Book to add anything to the Yum Yum (i.e. vanilla waffers and banana slices).

Yum Yum one of my favorite deserts.

At 6:02 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

M squared-
My profuse apologies for grossing anyone out. As you might be able to tell by my nickname, I have a tendency toward the discusting. Just so you know, it's not as gross as it sounds. Its yellow cake mix, cherry pie filling, and crushed pineapples mixed together and cooked in a dutch oven. Again, I'm VERY sorry for the queezyness of anyone's stomach as a result of this conversation, if we ever start something esle like that, please just tell us to shut up.

At 8:22 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Mmm. That Yum Yum sounds good. Thank God for the blessings he graciously bestows on us!

At 9:29 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Well, I was trying to avoid the mention of the name. Oh well.

At 10:35 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

MF-
I think I've mentioned before that I like math. But, *GASP* when looking through you "interests" section, I didn't see math listed.
Would you mind revealing mhy this is?

At 11:58 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Anyway, the reason I was asking, is because I wrote up a algebraic equation just for you.
*Music* "You are special, you're the only one, you're the only one like you..."
Well, umm... here it is, you need to tell me what all the variables equal in the next 24 hours. *Bum, Bum, Bummmmmm*

Solve for m.
(6K + 6M + 5x + 45) / 5 = x + 9 + (6m cubed) / 5m - (3S) / (5/2)

Please note: M and m are two different values.

Have Fun! :)

At 9:57 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I despise alebraic equations, but on the other hand you gave us 24 hours instead of 9.

At 10:23 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

9? Where are you getting that number? And what in the world is wrong with algebra? It makes MUCH more sense than... say spelling or grammar or things like that.

At 5:50 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Hellooooooo?

Any guesses?

At 6:46 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

No guesses...yet. We are calling in our back-up. We would have told you this earlier but our internet has not been working (yes this is true). We are going to go ask our uncle to help. This is why math is not on our interests! :)

At 8:09 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Elementary My Dear. . .Milkdud,
I love numbers so much that I think that we should all speak in numbers. 10-4? That is the 4-1-1 with me.
The girls are offended that it is unclear in the original equation if you intended 'the quantitiy 6m is cubed' or is it '6 times the quantity m-cubed'. I'm sure you can appreciate the difference this would make in their computational endeavors! These poor waifs are determined to solve this problem, I am sure they will be expecting your answer.
Sinceley,
The Mc-Uncle

At 9:04 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Yes, I thought about that problem. However, I did mean 6 times m cubed, if I had meant differently, then I would have said '(6m) cubed'.

PS: Mr. umm... Mc-Uncle sir, that elementary line is funny.

At 9:05 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I thank you Milkdud for kindly extending the deadline, but I'm afraid I have not been able to figure it out. Our uncle got me started on a few thoughts to run with, however I did not have time to work on it today at all. So I think I should let you know that I don't beleive I can solve for "m". Though if you want to wait (it will probably be a few days) I can try to post the answer we have so far.

At 9:17 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Okay I guess I can get it on tonight.

30K+30M+25x+225=x+9+(6m cubed)/2m-6/5S

I think this is what we figured. There were a lot of different figures on the paper!

At 10:08 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Ya know. I'm sorry, I didn't know ya'll were that busy. We can just skip the whole thing if you want, but if not, I think you might have misread the left side of the equation. I is supposed to be the sum 6K+6M+5x+45 divided by 5 instead of multiplied.

I will give pointers if requested.

At 10:53 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Milkdud, very clever equation.

Do you know who I am?

Hint: I like math, too.

At 9:05 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Sorry, I only know one jc and I don't think he knows about this blog. I haven't seen him for months.

At 9:17 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I'm assuming that I can get in on this too? Hopefully I can, since I about have this figured out.

At 9:23 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I have been wondering who jc is. Like milkdud I only know one jc and I am pretty sure it is the same one.

At 6:33 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Isaac, of course you can guess. Go ahead and try.

Everyone, I'm sure you know lots of jcs you just don't know what it means.

At 7:29 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I know one meaning for it.

At 7:36 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Justice Cornillius? Just a wild guess.

At 9:43 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Or how about James Carl, or Joseph Chistopher, or Jim-bob Crayon, or... Wait! How do we know jc's a guy? Maybe it's Jamie Carla, or Josephien Christina, or Julie-belle Carmen.

I really don't know any jcs!

At 11:08 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I knew one, but it was a guy, whose name was "Jaycee." I doubt this jc is him. He was rather particular that it was Jaycee, not JC, or, as the case may be, jc. :)

At 11:41 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Hey, there was a couple that joined our church not too long ago and her name was Jaycee!
But I don't think she would have found this blog.

At 12:29 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

The Jaycee I know (Isaac, it is the same one) would not talk like this jc we now find in our midsts. I wonder just who this could be?

At 8:55 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

oo, Jonathan Carter?

At 2:09 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Hint #1: jc is not my initials, it's what I am.

Hint #2: I was at the square dance

At 6:31 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Do you cheer for the Cardnials, or just don't care for Baseball?

At 11:45 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Go Michigan!!!!!!!

At 9:18 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Girl b.--I thought you said you didn't like football. Why are you cheering for Meat-chicken? :)

At 9:26 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I just like Michigan it's a joke at our house.

At 12:02 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I always cheer for the NL, so I was glad that the Cardnails won.

At 12:48 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

So just at a guess, did you tell milkdud before the sqaredance that I was a Tigers fan (this is extreamly absurb do to the fact I will not cheer for any Michigan team)? Milkdud I need you to confirm this. If you did, I know just who you are.

At 6:58 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Bumpas-
Yeah, I knew that, but you told me, I thought. I really don't know anyone named jc.

At 11:25 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I was thinking about that all the time that I was blowing/raking/transporting by-tarp-leaves today. 2 1/2 hours. That was a slight bit chilly, but fun. Anyway, I've not come up with who jc is. I'm thinking about it some more. Please don't make me lose any sleep over this thought...

At 11:26 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I don't know about that, but I suspect that jc is closer to you than you think.

At 9:25 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Yes, MUCH closer.

You should know that jc stands for something else. It's not my real initials (honestly, I don't think anyone has ever called me that) so don't go by the name.

At 11:11 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Okay I think jc is a sibling of milkdud. This would have to be right if my logic follows through logically-
~In the last comment (the one right above mine) jc is talking. "...It's not my real initials..."
~However, it is posted as milkdud saying it.
~Milkdud mentioned in another comment they have auto history.
~Milkdud also mentioned in another comment that he didn't think the jc he knew would be commenting (i.e. milkdud does not = jc)
~jc I think mentioned they went to the square dance. Since milkdud went I assume the rest of his family went too.
Therefore I think jc is a sibling to milkdud. Though I do not know which one since I am not familiar with them except for one sister, I do know her name.
Oh for a wild guess is jc stand for junior counselor probably in BSA???

At 10:57 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I don't think jc stands for junior councelor. In all of my days in Scouts, I don't remeber hearing of one.

My guess is that jc's first and last initials are E.W. Correct me if I'm wrong.

~M~ you missed one more fact in your logical thoughts up above. jc says she cheers for the Cardinals. The only people that I know in Ohio who cheer for the Cardinals would be milkdud and the rest of his familey. Also, I do know that E.W. is a major Cardinals fan.

At 2:16 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

She wouldn't pull something like that... would she? I'm gonna go ask her.

Umm... Well, I WOULD go ask her, but she's sick and resting right now. But, where would she get the jc thing? She S nicknames. I didn't even think she's ever been on this blog. I mean, I've told her about it in passing, and it's on the history. Wow! I didn't think she could be that sneaky.

At 2:17 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

OK this is annoying. That single S up there is supposed to be the word, Aych-Ay-Tee-Ee-Ess. As in strongly dislikes.

At 6:14 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Logic points to her how many people that were at the square dance know the Mortons.

At 8:05 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Ya'know I asked her, and she denied everything. Said she didn't even know what I was talking about.

At 12:57 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Sisters can be like that, but if you don't think it your sister, who is it?

At 10:16 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Well, it only makes sense. I mean jc was commenting all the time before E got sick. Now not a word.

At 10:04 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Does E like Math?

At 10:33 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Not especially, she likes history more.

At 11:50 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I'll just ask, jc, do you plan to come to the next square dance?

At 3:23 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

That would depend.

At 2:45 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

depend on what.

At 9:25 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Well if you do come, hold up a sign saying "jc". You may need to write in rather big lower case.

At 1:41 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Bumpas-
Why on earth would I do THAT!
This is too much fun.

Bugbee-
On a few other people's desicions.

At 8:01 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Ok then, back to the questions, do you know me or who I am? I have a rather obvious screen name to all those who know me.

At 9:15 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Guess my first name!! Hehe.

At 9:45 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

UM??? Isaac?

At 10:04 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Bumpas- yeah, I know ya.

I- Umm... oo! oo! Isacc?
