The Giggle of Girls

We were sent this great picture of our dear friends from the singing group. Some of our members had not yet "joined", so we will be adding their pictures later.

RPCUS Family Camp

On Wednesday we traveled to Bluefield, Va for the Reformed Presbyterian Church of the United States (RPCUS) Family Conference. In these four action packed days we heard from many giants of the faith. Men such as Former Chief Justice Roy Moore, Mark Rushdoony, Joe Morecraft III, and many other mighty pastors spoke on topics relating to The Gospel & God's Law: Why America needs Jesus and His 10 Commandments.
In between the sessions and during the breaks we enjoyed the extensive book store, a Judy Rogers concert, and a barn dance. We joined our friends in making an impromptu singing group that was named"A Giggle of Girls" which, you can imagine, was lots of fun. Though we came back with a little less sleep (late nights, early mornings) and weight (compare cafeteria food to homemade), our time in Bluefield was encouraging. Sometimes when it looks as if you are standing alone, especially in the area of politics & law, it renews your mind to know that yes there are other "weirdo's" out there like you. Well, when we get more pictures downloaded we can share more and maybe see if we can get the music video for "a Giggle of Girls" published! :)

The video camera M was holding caught a really great picture of Judge Moore's hand signing the book, which we will have to post later. Stay Tuned!

Another Weather Picture (and a story from our cousin)

This is hail that our grandparents had at their house today. Probably about the same time we were getting the beautiful cloud pictures. They live about 1/2 hour away from us and usually get worse weather than we do (sounds like another place I know. . .perhaps where we go to church?)! :)
This obviously was on another day but was so sweet we had to share it.
My Orange Popsicle

First you eat half of the orange popsicle. Then you allow the dog to take a bite.

So my dog took a BIG bite. . . and left a juice filled stick,

which BTW still tastes good. Just ask me!

Sorry old boy now there is nothing left except a very orange stick and a plastic wrapper!

The End!

An interesting quote

"Non c'e amore piu' sincero di quello del cibo."

"There is no love more sincere than the love of food."
