Visit To The Newlywed's Part 3

~~ Visit To Table Rock State Park~~

The colors on the trees were absolutely beautiful!

We took advantage of the lovely porch at the visitor's center

My Dear Sister

This swing was the most comfortable we have ever sat on!

~~ Ice Cream Treats~~

This place had scrumptious ice cream; you choose what kind of ice cream you want, as well as the condiments. Then the workers mix it together on a marble slab. Very interesting!

Decisions, decisions

~~Afternoon With Meg~~

Grandma and I

We again, had some ice cream treats, at a different place, called Coldstone Creamery. They do pretty much the same thing as the Marble Slab. Here, Daddy has cheesecake ice cream with raspberries and chocolate in a chocolate dipped waffle cone.

Afterwards, we had dinner with W. and Meg

Our kind hosts

W. and Meg say good-night to us through the window...

Which then proceeded into Meg tickling W....

And W. tickling Meg!:)

They sure are cute!

~~Field Trip~~

We also enjoyed spending a day with the whole V. family and Meg (unfortunately, W. could not make it until later). The first part of the day we went to Walnut Grove Plantation.

The laughing bunch (with the exclusion of Kate, our dear photographess)

Now, a little bit more calm

One of the buildings on the plantation was a Dr.'s "office". We found one of the items of the shelf particularly interesting.

The Tree Climbers (not tree huggers)

Daddy-O

After walking through the trail, we sat under this pavilion which had wonderful acoustics. We all sat down and lifted up our voices singing Psalms to the Lord. It was lovely!

Mumzie liked this wreath hanging over the fireplace in the pavilion

Fan Art

J. V. -"You are not taking a picture of me holding that thing in my hand!"

And what was that "thing" you might ask?....

That "thing" :)

We all enjoyed learning the "language of a fan"

Charming. Simply Charming.

I thought that was so cute!

Perhaps Miss N. on the far right is tired of us taking her picture?

Must have been tasty!

Mr. J. lovingly prepared a marshmellow for Grandma. How sweet!
