We took advantage of the lovely porch at the visitor's center
My Dear Sister
This swing was the most comfortable we have ever sat on!
~~ Ice Cream Treats~~
This place had scrumptious ice cream; you choose what kind of ice cream you want, as well as the condiments. Then the workers mix it together on a marble slab. Very interesting!

~~Field Trip~~
We also enjoyed spending a day with the whole V. family and Meg (unfortunately, W. could not make it until later). The first part of the day we went to Walnut Grove Plantation.

One of the buildings on the plantation was a Dr.'s "office". We found one of the items of the shelf particularly interesting.
Daddy-O
After walking through the trail, we sat under this pavilion which had wonderful acoustics. We all sat down and lifted up our voices singing Psalms to the Lord. It was lovely!
Mumzie liked this wreath hanging over the fireplace in the pavilion
