January

Herein lies the majority of events in January. Please forgive me if I bore you with all of the pictures! One afternoon, the Morton Maidens ran errands together. This is not an altogether uncommon occurance, however, we decided to take the camera with us.
Shopping for a card.
While shopping, we found some hats! As some of you know, hats are just the sort of things that the Morton Maidens love.
My sophisticated sister.
We visited the Library to pick up some things which we had ordered in.
Our local Library is one of the historical buildings in our town. It is situated on the old fort grounds of where our town started, during the war of 1812.

Mumsie and I taking a stroll down to Grandma's house

Getting ready to say farewell to our much-loved cousins. As you can tell, this was fairly early in the morning, so we are all rather sleepy-eyed!
Later that morning, our cousin helped us cut up vegtables for dinner. She was a blessing as we also had food to make for the next day!
Cleaning up after a scrumptious dinner which Meg and Kate made (along with the help which is mentioned above). Vegetable soup with panini sandwiches...yummy!
Our Uncle being, well, our uncle.
Meanwhile, we played a game where someone says a word and the person next to them says what they immediatly think of, and the next person says what they immediatly think of, etc. It is very fun and can become very interesting!

An evening in which we visit our Aunt and Uncles' house for dinner.
Kate, the puppy dog, and Auntie with the funny eyes!
Our cousin loves to "fly".
Flying

Meg-"Eww! What is in my water?"

Uncle-"Oh, sorry, I forgot to tell you, I swapped cups with you."

This month we also had the joy of giving a surpirse birthday party for our Grandma!

Anxiously waiting in the basement to go upstairs and surprise Grandma!

"Happy birthday dear Grandma..."

"...Happy birthday to you!"

*Note: our little cousin was attempting to help Grandma blow out the candles but in the meantime almost took a bite of the cake:)!!

After the candles were blown out and pictures were taken...

Balloons went flying everywhere!

Static!

Never a dull moment around here!!!!

Uncle being cool in his hat...............

While this little guy is being silly in his "hat", which was a bucket!

Kate and I had the pleasure of babysitting for our cousins and friends one night.

Cutie pies!

Two sweet helpers to Kate and I. They were such a blessing!

More sweeties.

Yeah! First to comment!

Nice pictures. I really like the bib. Also, the surprise party looks like it was great.

I would have commented earlier, but the other computer I was on wouldn't let me comment. When I looked at the post time, I'd already spent about three minutes looking at the post. The time when I saw the post time was 9:50. I think that's about the shortest time I've ever had!

Sorry if that didn't make sense. I really need to get to bed. :)
