Wow... I see what you mean by a formal ball. Dance cards. Only place I've ever seen those are in Meet Me in St. Louis. :P

Well, that's it. A comment for every post. Looks like an incredibly fun time for everybody. Encouraging and spiritually uplifting as well. Seeya later! :)

Well, Mr. Isaac... thank you for all of your comments! We certainly enjoyed reading all of them, even if some of them WERE a little (or quite a bit) boring :).

You're welcome. Glad to do it, ma'am. :)

Quite a bit boring? Hmmmm.... I'll have to make them less so next time. Maybe do it in Pig Latin. That work? ^_^

Oh, and as mentioned, that's a Colonel of Cavalry uniform. Watch a bit of Gods and Generals or Gettysburg and you'll see the difference. BTW, Gen Lee always wore a Colonel's rank insignia, but with a gray collar to his coat -- no particular combat arm. Yellow (like this gentleman) is cavalry, red is artillery, and blue is infantry. All general officers' collars are gold, and their rank insignia/collar badges are three stars in a wreath. Three stars alone are full Colonel. Oh, you're very welcome.
