Trip To Mississippi
A little birdie in the airport terminal :)
Devin and I had the pleasure of sitting next to this sweet Lady on our flight. We enjoyed talking to her about her travels to Africa, France and London!
The wing right outside my window
Waiting at the Atlanta airport (where we were bumped off five flights!)
Finally, in Mississippi! Eating lunch at Porch's restaurant with friends of Sam and Chloe's. The restaurant is called Porch's because in the middle of the restaurant (which used to be a house), there is a big porch.
The garden in the middle of the porch
Devin, the bag holder!
Two sisters showing the Camellias. Yes, Mississippi has flowers blooming in February!
Kate and Devin after lunch, at the H.'s home for some extended fellowship (with Mr. L. trying to hide in the background!).
Mrs. Renee, me, Kaitlin, Miss S. and Chloe
Everyone except for Mr. L.
Mr. Bob and Mrs. Renee, our dear hosts
Kate and Chloe trying on hats
Devin helping to slice the cheese
Thanks Devin for acquiescing to having your picture taken!:)
S.A.M. putting ice on her nose after an accident (no, I am not smelling the towel :)
Mr. Bob and Mrs. Renee making some delicious pizza
Moving from pizza to... biscuits and gravy!
One morning while reading my Bible, Holly (the cat) decided that I might like some company. And, for your information, I do not like cats :).
Take a good look at this house....
And this house. Do you see any resemblance? They are built identically the same and are right beside each other. Many years ago, a Father built his two daughters these houses for them to live in with their families.
At an upholstery shop downtown
In a bridal shop. We were in there just because we were shopping downtown and it looked interesting (no one is in need of bridal attire). Notice the dress behind us! Not quite our style.
Sam, S.A.M., Chloe, Kate and Kaitlin
Chit chatting and singing while waiting for dinner to cook
Sam and Chloe brought out their dulcimers and played them for us.
Mr. Bob waiting for all of the ladies to get around on Lord's day morning :)
Mrs. J. (our hostess for the afternoon), Chloe and Mrs. Renee getting food ready
Kate's art
Coming downstairs after our tour of the house

The Mothers: Mrs. K., Mrs. J. and Mrs. Renee
Miss J. and Sam
Waving goodbye :(
In the afternoon, friends stopped by
Miss E. and Mrs. Renee
Kaitlin: A Kook :)
Watching the goats prance and jump around (this was not staged :)
After the goats and their owners left, Kate and I had to clean up our shoes, and you can guess what it was that we had to clean up....
And you can see how thrilled we are about it! (Thanks Chloe for your help!)
Kate saying something witty to Mrs. Renee....
At least we could laugh over it!
Just as a side note, our shoes had not dried from the hose water when we woke up the next morning (which was the morning we had to leave), and we had no other shoes that we could wear. So, Chloe kindly blow dried our shoes at 4:00 in the morning with a hair drier!
Mumzie and Mamma Diane picked us up at the airport and we went to our traditionl place to eat!

OK. Long comment following. You've been warned...
I like the bird. Airports are, after all, supposed to be places where things are flying. :)
Those in-air pictures are gorgeous. Can't wait to start seeing weather like that around here more.
By the way, what was the airplane? Just curious.
Kate--the hat looks cool. :)
That cheese looks good.
S.A.M.--Even though you don't like cats, it's still a great picture. :)
That little girl's look is incredible. :D
The goats are really cute. :) I also thought the section on shoe-cleaning was rather entertaining. :) You do realize that you could use sticks instead of paper towels, right? :P
Looks like you had a great time. Just curious about one more thing--do you know how many pictures you took over the entire thing? I'm guessing at least 1,500.
Oh, I LOVE the pictures! Everything looks so beautiful! I'm sure there was alot of hands moving and "girlie giggles" that week! :) Can't wait to hear more about it!

Isaac-
We flew in two different types of airplanes. The only one we can remember right now is MD88. The other was a smaller one.
About the shoes.. we were going to use sticks but could not find any, so we eventually used toothpicks.
We took somewhere around 800 pictures. Not very close to 1,500!
Auntie-
Oh, boy! You should have heard the giggles going on! Imagine Kate and I's giggles multiplied about four or five times!:)Love ya!
